Mushroom Chili

Mushroom Chili

If you love mushrooms, make this! If you’ve got a ton of mushrooms you know you need to use up, make this. So savory! Pair this with rice or over a baked potato even!

As usual, all spices are to your specific taste, so don’t be afraid to mess with those measurements.

I used a pressure cooker for this, but, it’s not necessary.

This is an oil-free recipe.

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Sautee onions and peppers dry until softened on high heat.
  2. Then add in your mushrooms and lightlife smartground, breaking up the crumbles with a wooden spoon.
  3. Add all other ingredients.
  4. Stir, put on high pressure at 15 psi for 5 minutes.
  5. Reduce to low for 10 minutes then turn off heat and depress urine naturally.
  6. Remove lid, stir and continue to simmer for added flavor as long as you'd like.
  7. You may also just cook this in a normal pot on high heat for 10 minutes, then simmer for at least one hour.
